William Peter Mazza

William (Bill) P Mazza , age 79, of College Park, FL and formerly of Milford, CT died unexpectedly on August 22, 2023. Born in Long Branch, NJ on July 3, 1944 he was the son of the late William and Grace Ferguson Mazza.

He worked as a draftsperson early in his career before advancing to engineering and design. Bill taught himself Mandarin Chinese while working abroad for the Litton Corp.

Bill was a photography enthusiast who often presented his large collection of 35MM slides chronicling his latest adventures to friends and family. He was an avid golfer and a member of Dubsdread Country Club and also played many other famous courses.

He enjoyed camping and hiking, playing card games and backgammon and dining out with friends.

Bill had an innate ability to transform casual introductions into a legion of lifelong friends. He was a bright light in many lives and he will be missed.

He is survived by his three sons Daniel W Mazza of Rhode Island, Gregory B Mazza of Florida and William J Mazza of Connecticut and his two sisters Gloria Santaniello and Mary Lou Stroffolino of NJ, his former wife and friend Carol Mazza Bolin as well as many cousins and many treasured friends.

Interment was private.
