Bill, Joy, Scott and Carol. So very sorry to hear about David. I know that he will be missed a great deal. He was always a very upbeat and fun person to be around. You will all be in my thoughts. I will not be able to attend the service today due to a cold that I would not want to pass on to others.

I am so very sorry to read this and to know that you are grieving the loss of David's presence. He is remembered for so many wonderful character traits. Kindness and joy were such staples in his interactions with everyone. He loved his family like crazy and I know you will miss him. There are no words of comfort that makes this kind of pain any softer. Please know so many will be praying for you tonight and over the coming days.

Dave was a joy to be around. He always had smile on his face, light hearted and a great since of humor. David and I were in the Navy together and served together during Desert Shield. We also worked together at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Fair winds and following seas shipmate. You may be gone but will never be forgotten.
Sincerely
Greg Mougey

David is the first cousin of my wife Marianne. I first met David about 43 years ago. Even then I could see that he was bursting with energy and a love of life. It seems as if he packed 100 years of living into his all-to-short life. David was a kind and loving person, always ready to help his fellow man. He will be sorely missed. I send my heartfelt condolences to his parents, Joy and Bill, his children, Devon and Molly, his siblings, Carol and Scott, and to all his friends and extended family. May he rest in peace.
