WILLIAM P. "BILLY", JR.
Age 61, of Green Tree, on Sunday, March 29, 2015. Beloved son of the late William P., Sr. and Elaine (Saupp) O'Connor; loving brother of Mary Elyse (Sam) Kaye; cherished uncle of Sam, Connor and Bonnie Kaye. Bill graduated with a bachelor of science degree from the University of Pittsburgh, a master's degree in chemistry from Duquesne University and an MBA from the Katz Business School, University of Pittsburgh. He played the drums in multiple local bands since high school and was the original drummer for Blondie and played with the Elliotts for the last ten years. Family and friends welcome Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, (412-563-2800), 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. Funeral Mass in St. Margaret of Scotland Church Monday 10 a.m. Interment St. George Serbian Cemetery.

Your brother was the best! I have known him from the 70's. I am sorry I am only stumbling on this obit now. I just rode past Kirsopp the other day & put Bill on my "to call list" to catch up on life. I am so very sorry for your loss.

We met Billy a few years ago when we started following the Elliotts. He was not only one of the nicest, funniest & friendliest, but also ridiculously talented. We want to send our condolences to his family, and "Ringo" will be in our thoughts. Billy was a true class act. Sincerely, the Morgan family.

I first met Billy O in 1984 as a co-worker. Over the years we became good friends. Besides his love of music he was devoted to his father, sister and family. He had great memories of his childhood and I loved hearing his stories. Gonna miss you Bilby!

We met Billy in 2009, when he was playing with the Elliotts in the Cavern Club, Liverpool, a lifetime ambition for him surely. We luckily got to see The Elliotts in the USA in 2010/2011 when we got to know Billy better. He was a lovely man and a super musician and we will miss him and his stories. Take Care mate.
