William R. Oppenhuis, age 79, of Lynwood, IL, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017. Beloved husband of 55 years of Sandra Oppenhuis, nee Swart. Devoted father of Michael (Linda) Oppenhuis, Michelle (Steven) Van Beek, Ross (Lori) Oppenhuis, and Robert (Kimberly) Oppenhuis. Proud grandfather of Andrew, Jocelyn, Zachary, Joshua, Samantha, Tatum, Brett, Sydnee, Alexa, Tanner, Maxwell, Kyla, and Taylor. Dear brother of Donna (Ray) Fuller and Cheryl (Larry) Morrone. Preceded in death by his parents Edward Oppenhuis and Rose Stefik, and his sister Arlene Meadows.
