I have been lucky to work with Bill for the past 8 years. In that time I have learned quite a bit from him. I always appreciated the time he took to answer any questions I had and the kind way he would explain things. He will be truly missed by many at Elliott.

I was very saddened to hear of Bill's sudden passing. I have known Bill for a long time since our days of coaching girls softball at Ascension church thru many Friday nights of talking at the Ground Round. Since I have left the area I seldom have seen him but those few times I did he was as welcoming to me as always and there will be a void anytime I go to Ascension functions and don't see him there. My condolences to Bob, Karen and the family.

The Gustafson family sends their sincere condolences. Bill and I attended grade school and high school together. Our parents were good friends and our mothers decided to deliver baby boys on the exact same day. I will miss you birthday buddy. Prayers for the family.

Bill was a fantastic friend and co-worker at Elliott and he leaves behind a huge footprint of lives that he has touched over the decades of his work. He was known, literally all over the world to Elliott customers and employees. They always breathed a sigh of relief when Bill got on a call. His patience was never ending (and I tested it!). His stories about family and Disney trips will be sorely missed.

Condolences to Bill's family from the Lufkin Gears family! We have a special connection to the Elliott Group and especially Bill since we grew up in Jeannette together and worked together at Elliott during the early part of my career. I had the good fortune to continue to work with him over the last 40 years as a supplier and a friend. I echo many of the comments that convey what a great man Bill was and we were all better for knowing him and working with him. He leaves a proud legacy and we are all saddened that he left us too soon. Godspeed Bill!

Condolences to the family. The brothers presence at Fort Pitt TCA Train Shows will not be the same. As a former President of the organization, I´d like to extend our sympathy to the entire family. Personally, I always enjoyed our communications at train events. May he rest in peace riding those tinplate rails.

Bill, a fine engineer, a respected colleague, a good friend and a wonderful human being. Shocked to hear about him leaving us so soon. I have known Bill for the last ten plus years, but have not been in touch for the past couple of years or so. Nevertheless, Bill will remain as one of my most cherished acquaintances , and a very good friend. Rest in peace , Bill. We will always remember you

Many of us will remember fondly our collaboration with Bill, both in and out of Elliott Company. A man of principles and integrity, Bill had no equals. As a father he was a role model. Of these traits his family can be proud, knowing the reputation he leaves behind. Bill now joins the "Elliott League of Engineering Legends", a group of superior professionals who changed the turbomachinery industry and the world they lived in. Godspeed Bill.

Bill is already missed so much in our little Disney community. My grandfather worked the railroad and Bill still taught me things I had yet to learn about trains. Even helping me try to find a Disney train for the house. Such an amazing man. Thanks for your friendship and comrodery. Rest well my friend.
