William PATTEN Obituary
November 5, 1915 - November 9, 2012
The family sadly announces the passing of Bill Patten in his 98th year. He was predeceased by his wife Claire and son Ross. Loving father of Richard (Penny), Keith (Jim) and Rob (Eveline). Cherished Grandfather of Timothy (Marie-Eve), Chantelle (Jon), Shawn, Venetia-Robyn, Christopher (Kelly), David (Veronique) and Tyler. Great-grandfather of Claire, Skyler, Sophie, Corrbin and Madeline. Bill was a sales representative for Wire Rope Industries for 22 years and a Counselor with the United Commercial Travelers. He enlisted during the 2nd World War with the Grenadier Guards Reserve and was selected as one of four veterans to be honoured, in the Year of the Veteran, by the Ste. Anne de Bellevue Legion, Quebec. Many thanks to the staff at Le Monastere Residence in Gatineau, where he lived for the last three years. There will be no service, at the request of Bill. A private family gathering will be held at the gravesite, in Montreal.
