Dr. Perkins you will be truly missed. Not only were you an amazing veterinarian, but you truly were a great person. I may not have known you personally, but I could tell a lot about your character through the countless interactions I've had with you over the past 15+ years. One specific memory that sticks out in my head is when one of my fur babies was a puppy and she was touch and go for a couple of weeks and you were unsure of whether or not she would survive, on every single one of your days off from the office, you would call me to ask me how she was doing and to see if there was any change or anything that you could do to help. The fact that my animals health still was of concern to you on your days off truly speaks to your compassion and good nature. Many people in this world could stand to take a page out of your book. You will be truly missed by many. Fly high with all the angels. I wish your family, friends, and colleagues all of the strength and peace to get through the pain of your passing.

To The Perkins Family and The New Baltimore Animal Hospital Family,
I am shocked and saddened to hear of Dr Perkins' passing. He was a wonderful doctor to all of my pets over the last 20 years. Even when I moved out of Ravena I would still driving down to New Baltimore to have Dr Perkins take care of my animals. He was always very nice and understanding. My condolences to his wife and children and his coworkers. RIP Dr Perkins, I'm sure my dog Jake will meet you at the pearly gates.

I was employed as a relief veterinarian during the summer of 2018 at New Baltimore Animal Hospital. Dr. Perkins is an example of the type of veterinarian we all should strive to be; kind, compassionate, listening to his clients, examining animals with ease and always available to provide advice; to owners and colleagues. He had the highest level of veterinary integrity. Dr. Perkins will be missed by all. I was fortunate to work with him. My thoughts are with the Perkins family and the entire New Baltimore family.
