There was so much more to this man than his love for the newspaper business. For a decade or more he was the greatest handyman in Lakewood Ohio. He always had time to help a friend or neighbor. Mostly he was a relentless loving father. We raised 3 magnificent children together and enjoyed every minute of it. He accompanied them to all there events. Football. Flag corps. Singing angels. And he enjoyed each and every one. He was very smart and well liked by all. Little known to many he was a fabulous cook. We spent twelve years together and then grew apart. Not many men out there made of the same basic good that was Bill. My deepest condolences to my stepchildren.

This is Devastating news . Great man and a Terrific Father to me. He raised me from 8 years old to 20 and truly treated me like I was his own... We lost touch through the years but he was always in my heart and always will be! I have so many amazing memories of him and still carry his last name with pride! I am who I am today in great part to him! Rest In Peace Dad ❤
