I am sorry to hear of the passing of Billy Repsher. His Mother was a cousin of my dad, Albert Burke. I remember visiting the Repsher home in Fountain Springs. I have found memories of the family. My mother and I send our sympathy to Billy's wife and family.
Your cousins,
Mabel Burke (103 years old)
& daughter Elizabeth (Betty) Burke.

I am sending these late condolences on behalf of the Donley family to the Repsher family. I have learned of Mr. Repshers passing just now from Facebook. I did not know William Sr. but was good friends with both sons Bill and John. I have many good memories from our days together in high school chorus and performing arts. I recall that Mr. Repsher was a teacher in Pt Beach but did not know of what subjects until now. I am sure that he was a very fine man given that he raised two wonderful and talented sons. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Marie,
I have fond memories of your dad, El Senor, during my 3 years of Spanish. There was not a Spanish word for Judith so he called me Anna. I still have my Spanish book! Looking back, I wish I took the 4th year! Rest In Peace...

i graduated from PPBHS in 1975 after having El Senor for 4 years.
I owe him my career as a flight attendant with Pan Am.
I had applied to all the airlines and even though Pan Am required a second language I decided to try for them as they were my dream company to fly for.
Went to NY , had my interview and then had to test my language skills With another interviewer .. I passed and was offered a job that day!
I would go back to see Mr Repsher whenever I was in NJ and talk to the Spanish classes .. telling them how that 4 years changed my life. I continued to fly for Delta in 1991 when PAA went under and again my language skills that he taught me were put to the test! I flew for another 5 years..
I will always remember EL Senor. He changed my life and gave me the best career. RIP El Senor..

I graduated from PPBHS in 1958 and took 3 years of spanish with Mr Repsher. Of all the teachers I had in HS College and Graduate school he was the best and did the most mentor me through behavior and academics. I remember him well. I did continue my spanish study in college, although did not make it a career. I live now in southern California and to this day have many many opportunities to use it a bit. I still remember enough to get by, and each time i use a bit of Spanish he comes to mind.

Mr. Repsher was my Spanish teacher at PPBHS for 4 years. He was tough but friendly and he taught us well. He was one of the best teachers at the school. I went on to college to become a Spanish teacher because of him. I'll always remember him. Rest in peace, Senor Repsher.

So sorry to hear this. Senor Repsher had a big impact on my life as a student. Because of his influence I had a successful career as a Spanish teacher and pursued graduate studies in Spain. Que descanse En Paz
