William Frank Rhodes, II, 69, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, July 21, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital.

A private memorial service will be held Sunday, July 24, 2011 according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Mr. Rhodes was born November 24, 1941 in Ft. Benning, GA son of the late Willie Frank Rhodes and Violet Christine Hawkins Bowen. He was the owner of Rhodes Shoe Repair at Ft. Benning, GA and he attended Evangel Temple Assembly of God.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Roni Ann Rhodes, sister, Patsy Morton, and brother, Jack Bowen.

Survivors include his loving wife, Grace Tate Rhodes of Columbus, GA, daughter, Tammy Rhodes of Columbus, GA, son, William Frank "Billy" Rhodes, III (Jan) of Columbus, GA, step-daughters, Wanda Kuhl (Bill) of Cumming, GA and Sheila Kosal (Ben) of Columbus, GA, sister, Mary Ann Rhodes Clegg of Georgia, brothers, Kenneth Rhodes (Laura) of West Point, GA and Danny Bowen of Mauk, GA, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren,
