Formerly of Newton Greens Peacefully in hospital on March 5, 2014, aged 87 years, William Thompson (Bill), beloved husband of the late Norah, much loved dad to Rosemary and the late Graham, father in law to Sandy, loving granda to Jennifer, Andrew and Brian and a very dear friend of Eileen. Cremation at Cowpen Crematorium, Blyth on Friday, March 14 at 11 am followed by Service of Thanksgiving at St James's Church, Shilbottle at 12.45. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to either The Great North Air Ambulance or St. James Church, c/o Alistair Turner Funeral Directors, Garden Lodge, Greenwell Road, Alnwick, NE66 1HG
