My grandfather was a sign painter in Cranford, NJ from 1920-1960. My mom age 94 really enjoys Bill's videos as they remind her of her father and his work. We especially enjoy the gold leaf work and the demo of folding the index card into the paint cup. He seemed like a humble and gentle man. Condolences to all.

Bill was a great man and a fabulous sign painter and artist. I was fortunate enough to spend time with him and learn many things about sign painting and gold leaf gilding on glass.
I will think of Bill everytime I fold a paper paint cup out of an index card like he showed me. He gave me one of his palettes a few years ago and I will continue to use it in his memory

Bill was, unquestionably, the most loved person among Walldogs and Letterheads. The sign industry is extremely blessed that Bill found his calling and could lend his talents to it to the very end. By example, he inspired everyone to be a little bit better, every day.

A truly remarkable man. Extremely talented, always polite and willing to help. I will miss him as my patient.
