Beaver will be missed by all his friends young and old . He had a magnetic personality that attracted people to him . He made a statement that had a lasting impression on me regarding hockey; " If you want be a good player, you have to pay the price". Our thoughts and prayers for Florence & Family !

Beaver coached me at Lowell High School 1975-1977. He made us believe we could beat Shawsheen Tech with their several year unbeaten streak. And we did, making the front page of the Lowell Sun sports section! Chanting we're #1 serenading our foes in the adjacent locker room. Coach taught us how to play as a team and win. "Coach Bill" was clearly a wonderful and unique person. I will always remember him as man full of life, wit, humor, and most of all with a deep love and demonstrated commitment to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and for Flo and their great family.

I first meet Bill in the 1980's at a New England Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship Convention. You knew when Bill was in the room ... and he was always a blessing and a joy to spend time and fellowship with. He will surely be missed for a season, but as the chorus of an old Christian hymn reads: "When we all get to Heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all see Jesus, we'll shout and sing the victory!" See you soon, Bill! (Bob Zider, Vermont)

My father Bob Lavery was cousins with Beaver. They had a gifted friendship that extended to their wives and children. Beaver was my brother Peter's Godfather. I have fond memories of the Lavery family visits to the hockey rink, their home or residence in Gloucester. Beaver and Flo raised a nice family and were quite the couple with them always being there for each
other. We visited with Beaver and Flo recently and they shared what was happening with the family and their pride in their sons and their families. Dad and Beaver were both great story tellers. Some of those stories is " the stuff of legends" . Rest in peace Beaver. Dad's got a few stories to tell you up in heaven.

Bill was a spiritual inspiration to everyone he encountered at the North Shore Bridge Church, which he and Flo called their church home for many years. We were all encouraged by the unique ways he could bring the love of Jesus into a conversation with a friend or even a perfect stranger. One of his favorite ways was to wear a Yankee's hat into a store. When the clerk would say something like, "I'm not selling anything to you with that hat on," Bill would laugh and explain how Micky Mantle accepted Jesus at the end of his life, then hand him a tract. There are just too many stories to tell of his humor, kindness, and love for life.

My condolences to you and the family, Flo. Praying for God`s peace for you all, and believing that Bill is finally at rest with his beloved Jesus.

What a full and wonderful life you Mr. Robinson lived. I was unaware of his many gifts and talents and how he helped so many within his communities in the sports, hockey world, and through his ministry, as well. I remember Mr. Robinson and his entire family as such wonderful friends and neighbors when we grew up together in Boxborough many years ago. Rest Easy, Mr. Robinson. My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Robinson Family on this sad and difficult loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Our deepest sympathies to the family. Bill was one of a kind for sure. The greatest of memories at many Conventions and Advances. Our affectionate love to all the family. He will be sorely missed.

I was one of the kids hanging around the ice rink in Hudson getting yelled at by Bill.
Years later Bill and I met again at a FGBM meeting.
Over the next few years I was a welcomed guest in the Robinson home for a home cooked meal and a time of Bible study.
Bill was a bold witness for the Lord Jesus. He helped this new believer to find his way.
Lord God, I pray that you will comfort and guide Bill's family as they grieve and that future generations will honor you as Bill did.
