WILLIAM H. "BILL" RODD ST. JOHNSBURY - William H. "Bill" Rodd, of 187 Overclyffe Rd. in St. Johnsbury, died unexpectedly Sunday, on Christmas Day. Bill was 83. He was born in Concord, N.H. on Dec. 24, 1928, the son of William G. and Florence (Wallace) Rodd. Bill was president of Rodd Roofing, founded by his father, William G. Rodd, in 1920. Bill was very fond and proud of his 'adopted sons' from Nepal, Mingma, Pasang, C.T. and Chhuldim "Chili" Sherpa; and many cousins residing in Prince Edward Island. The Club at Old Mill was a dear part of Bill's life. A lit of great memories of Bill when I was growing up and then later in life. I, as a Army Recruiter, brought the all Army basketball team to St Johnsbury HS to put on a clinic and Bill helped me make the arrangements. He always was great person to visit with and share our experiences in life

Our Heartfelt Sympathy is shared with the entire Rodd Family,

I enjoyed your Dad and Mom's visits to the greenhouses in Colchester so much. Your Dad always made me feel so good, his incredible smile, his endless kindness and concern for my family and employees, and most important of all his shared wisdom on "how to enjoy life through family values and friendships"; I will never forget Bill Rodd as a wonderful friend, customer and very proud man! Thank you Natalie for always sharing him with me when you made the trip to Burlington, you both will forever be in my warm heart!

My deapest sympathy to each of you,
Chris Conant and The entire Staff of Claussen's Greenhouses

I'm glad Bill & Natalie shared their lives with my family. Justin & I appreciate all your time and dedication to the racquetball program at OMRC. [I still call it that. :)]

Thanks, Bill, for supporting me and my brother! *H*

I am saddened to hear of Bill' s sudden passing, and send prayers for Nat and the Rodd sons & their families. Bill was a kind, decent, honest man and I will miss his humor, positive energy (always reminding me to have a healthy day when ending a phone call). His love for his family was amazing and his generosity of spirit inspiring. Rest in peace Bill.

Mrs. Rodd, Casey, Tino, Steve and extended family members:

I have great memories of Mr. Rodd from when I was a kid growing up in St.J and all of the great times we had at the Rodd household on Fridays night's at the pool (with Mrs. Rodd's amazing food buffets). Whenever I was around Mr. Rodd, he always made me feel on top of the world; I feel honored to have known him. My sincere sympathies on the passing of a great man.

I treasure my memories of Uncle Billy...truly one of the kindest beings to ever live. He lived his life in a way that impacted many. He will be deeply missed. Love and comfort to those missing him already.

From the Saffo's,
Our heartfelt sympathies to Natalie, Jason, Scott, and family.

Rich, Rich,Jr, and I all loved seeing Bill at all the Racquetball tournaments at the Old Mill.
Bill was the most loving host, you felt like you were a part of his dear family, he always gave you a big hug and was very interested in what was going on in your life. I could tell he enjoyed the club business because of the way he treated the people it brought into his life!
We always looked forward to seeing both him and Natalie when we went there!
He will be remembered and missed in our Racquetball world!
Rest in Peace. . .Bill Rodd.

Sincerely, Stephanie Saffo
