William "Bill" Salter

My heartfelt condolences to Bill’s family and friends. I had the distinct pleasure to know Bill as a contractor working in his building at Sunrise Thornhill. He was always pleasant and happy to see you, I will truly miss his laughter and the great conversations we would have about anything and everything. He was truly a gentleman. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

There are no words to express this tragic loss! Bill will always be remembered and loved with great memories! Always bringing smiles and laughter with him. We will miss him dearly. My heart goes out to Faye and family! Love Trish and Larry

Bill was a very unique human being, hard working, extremely dedicated and enthusiastic. He cared about everybody. Bill had an amazing sense of humour. We joked a lot almost on a daily basis. He worked as if sunrise belonged to him. When I showed up at work at 5am he was already there. Many residents that I spoke to were extremely fond of him. At the moment I’m not in Canada but my thoughts are with his wife and family. Personally it is very tough for me to grasp that when I return to work I will no longer see Bill there.
For his wife and family I wish they will know no more sorrow.

My daughter and I are heartbroken to hear about Bill passing. Bill was an incredible human being. I will miss our long talks sharing our life experiences together.
