So sorry to hear about your Dad. My Dad and yours were classmates at the Academy '49. I remember visiting your Dad and Mom when I was young with my Dad in MA. My deepest sympathies.

William Schwob was a friend and a huge help with my campaign for City Commission. Thank you to his daughter for her call. It was much appreciated. Had not seen the obituary. May he rest in peace.

Rest in peace, Admiral Schwob. You were "Semper Paratus" all the way, and the US Coast Guard is better off for the legions of young ladies and men you recruited for the Coast Guard Academy. We include our son, Class of 1996 whom you recruited out of Countryside HS, mentored, and encouraged. God Bless!

My brother RADM David Lauth was a classmate of RADM Schwob . He also grew up in Buffalo . He passed away in 2011They can also reunite. Mary Lauth Slade
