I knew Bill my whole life. My parents worked on the Flying D ranch with Bill. In recent years my mom would take cookies to him every so often and he would come to my parent's 4th of July party just about every year. We will all really miss him.

To the Shunk family: We offer our condolences at the loss of your loved one. We appreciate the life Bill lived. Having had the opportunity to hear/read his stories of the Flying D Ranch was just awesome. His stories were told as if one was right there. God bless his life and may you all find peace and comfort these days ahead as you remember your loved one who lived such a full life. Uncle Bill was a terrific cowboy, honest and always had a smile. Such a great attitude and I will never forget him. Can't believe he's gone.
