SINGLETON
WILLIAM FRANCIS
William Francis Singleton, 83, passed suddenly on Friday, May 19, 2017. Husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and brother. He was born and raised in McKeesport, graduated Cum Laude with an Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He owned Dunn Corporation for 35 years, a general construction company in Carnegie and was a long time resident of Upper St. Clair and Mt. Lebanon. Bill was a authentic and considerate man who was committed to his family, his business, his city, and his church. A husband who shared with equality, a father and grandfather who taught with integrity, a builder who took no shortcuts, a Pittsburgher with a passion for Pirates, Penguins, Steelers and Pitt… and an everyman with an infectious laugh and love of people. Family was the most important and happy part of his life from enjoying tennis, skiing, paddle tennis and golf with children, happily taking trips everywhere with the kids in our motor home, and going to our Kiawah Island home where everyone played in the ocean waves. Bill passed in the way that he lived, by doing something for others. He is survived and loved by his wife, Lois; children, Tammy Singleton-English and Todd Singleton; grandchildren, Drew and Kristy English; son and daughter-in-law, Jim English and Lisa Mascolo; sister, Margy Armstrong; and brother-in-law, Jim Armstrong. He was also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and appreciated in grace by the congregation of the Westminster Presbyterian Church. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Friends and Family are welcome at 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, 724-941-3211 Thursday from 1-3 and 6 – 8 p.m. and Friday 9 – 11 a.m. Burial will be private by the family. A Memorial Service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church July 22, 2017, at 11 a.m., which will be followed by a reception for all at St. Clair Country Club. Memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund and Planned Parenthood of Pennsylvania. Online condolences may be offered at www.beinhauer.com.

My deepest love and sympathy to my dearest friend Lois, Tammy, Todd and family. Bill and Lois enjoyed everything in life and traveled to many places I have only read about or viewed their pictures. Thank you for being a part of my life. Rest in peace Bill.
