Dear Joan, Bill and family-
As a young boy, my brothers and I spent many hours at your home, playing in the treehouse and jumping on your trampoline with Bill and Clay and about a dozen other kids. Your family was always welcoming and fun. As a kid, I could tell how much Dale loved life. He was one of the most creative and interesting adults I had ever met. I remember the pigeons and birdhouses. Fond memories. My condolences. God Bless you all.

Dear Joan and Family,
I am SO very sorry for your loss.
I know how sick he was when I saw you in December at Dr Conklin's at least his suffering has ended.
I am so happy to have had the chance to sit and talk with you two that day and have had the honor of looking at that wonderful book of paintings that the kids gave him. I think he was proud to have had the chance to show it off to those of us in the Dr's office too.
I had a Dr appointment that conflicted with his service I would have loved to have been there. Warm hugs and my best to all of you!!
Love,
Sue (Aman) Clynick

Dale will be remembered by his nice smile and the sparkle he had in his eyes when he looked at his sweetheart Joan. He was a man of few words, but when he spoke only good came out of his mouth. Dale and Joan were a living example of true love.
We have a great hope of seeing Dale again in the reserection of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dale was a wonderful teacher to me. Not a teacher in an organized school, but in the school of life. He taught me by example what it is to love a spouse. I once wrote an editorial in the paper about the special love that he and Joan had for one another. He taught a new respect, and an appreciation for the 'little things' in life. His quiet smile spoke volumes. To his family during this most difficult time,I pray that Jesus give you comfort from all the happy memories, strength to endure this painful time, and peace in knowing that when Jesus comes again, Dale will be in the ranks of those with many jewels for their crowns. Dale will rise from this peaceful slumber to meet Jesus in the clouds of Glory!
