March 8, 2025.....A day doesn't pass that "Cardinal" isn't in my thoughts and prayers. He'd be hard at work on the Springfield class of 1965 60th reunion if he were still with us but I know he is keeping us in his prayers. Miss you Bill....

Bill and I grew up in Gloversville, NY., and spent a lot of time at the YMCA with various activities. He was always the "go to" guy for us. When I came to Springfield College for a transfer interview, he was the first to meet me and take me on a tour. Then there was the Spring trip to Florida in Bill's infamous Chevy Corvair which broke a distributor on the way. I think it was in "Red Neck" country somewhere. We had a four hour lunch a few months before his passing Unloading our life's information. He was really someone to be proud of to call a friend. I know we will miss him, while remembering the good times.

Bill´s death saddens me hugely. He and Ray were great friends in college and together we were great friends with Bill over the years. After Ray died Bill´s care of me was like a doting brother. There were times when I was feeling down that Bill made me laugh so much that tears were raining down between the keys of my computer. Our last conversation was several months ago when he was in assisted living. Even then he brought a smile to me. Bill was a great cheer leader. He loved Springfield College and kept our class of `65 together for many years. Rest in peace, my brother.

Bill and I traveled to California for summer jobs between our junior and seniors years. It was quite a trip in Bills Chevy Corvair. It had an air- cooled engine and driving through the Mojave Desert was an interesting experience!
Bill was a really good guy in many ways and will be missed.

I remember Bill as a very enthusiastic "Coordinator of Student Activities" at Alfred State College in 1968. It was always a joy to be in his company!
