As I was a young pilot for Executive Airlines back in the late 60's Bill, Betty and Buddy ran our Waterville operation. As pilots we interacted with them frequently, with them dispatching flights to Boston, and New York. They were great and when they left there were sorely missed.

The Staples family were great to work with back those many years ago. God bless them all.

Betty, Buddy, Jane & Karen- It's been many years since we all saw Bill and your family altogether here in Maine, but I have fun memories of you all, including Bill and his robust love of life. My father, John (we lost him last year), spoke of Bill often and fondly. Their Hathaway memories were dear. My love to you all and sympathy on your loss. Pam (Thomas) Nobbs

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I remember the Staples family well and Bill was always a true gentleman. The operation they had at the Waterville Airport was the best one ever to be there. My condolences to Betty and Bud for the loss of Bill. Their home was always open to all and we had some great swimming parties at their pool. Those were good days and good times.

Thank you Bill, Betty and Bud for those days.
