Age 85, of Bethel Park, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019, with his family by his side. Son of the late Joseph and Frances Starzynski. Bill was the beloved husband of Margaret (Knight) Starzynski for 63 years; loving father of Sharon (William) Abraham, Mary Frances (Jack) Garwood, William (Laura) Starzynski, Catherine (Tim) Condie, Brian (Stacie) Starzynski; grandchildren, Austin and Grant Abraham, Blair (James) Merrills, Gibson and Jake Starzynski, Tyler Kerr, Anthony, Michael and Joseph Starzynski, Madilyn Condie, Carly Garwood; great-granddaughter, Ophelia Merrills; brother of Eugenia Starzynski, and the late Joseph S. and Wilton F. Starzynski; nieces and nephews. Friends received on Friday, July 19, 2019, from 2-9 p.m. at DAVID HENNEY FUNERAL HOME, 6364 Library Rd., South Park Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Valentines Church, 2710 Ohio St., Bethel Park on Saturday at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Family Hospice at familyhospicepa.org. davidhenneyfuneralhome.com/listings

To the Starzynski...I am so very sorry for you loss. Mr. Star was the best! Please know that I have all of you in my thoughts and prayers. He had a great sense of humor, and will be missed deeply.

To Mrs. Starzynski, and all the kids, I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Star. His boisterous laugh could be heard around the neighborhood, and that's how I'll always remember him. It's so hard to lose a parent, and I hope the many years of memories will give you all comfort during this time of grief and loss. Sending hugs to each and every one of you!

Peggy and family.....the passing of Bill is a a loss for our Jugoslav club family. There is no greater joy than a good laugh and Star provided me with many. With pride in his polish heritage , Star's moral compass was always in support of the less fortunate in life. RIP STAR
