William Stewart Obituary

William "George" Stewart , born November 17, 1928 in Kent Junction, New Brunswick, went peacefully to be with the Lord on November 22, 2013, with his loving wife Elsie at his side during his stay at the MacKenzie Hospital. He was 85 years of age. George is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elsie (Whalen) Stewart; son, Wayne (Margo); grandchildren, Travis (Tracy) Stewart, & Katrina (Monty) Carswell; great grandchildren, Averry, Dakota, Zander, & Ashton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. George was preceded in death by his parents, May & Edmond; sisters, Carrie, Sarah, Annie, Margaret, & Isabell; and by brothers, Leo, & Edmond. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 12:00pm at St. Peter's Catholic Church (Skeena Drive) in MacKenzie, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Charity of Choice would be appreciated. Prince George Funeral Service in care of arrangements. 250-564-3880

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish our memories of happy times in Mackenzie. George was so well loved and respected. Our thoughts and prayers are with Elsie and family at this sad time. Forever in our hearts.
