William Strickler Obituary
He was retired from Kroger and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen A. Tamborski.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia J. (Frazier) Withers Strickler, step-son, Robert A. (Janice) Withers, Jr. of Leesburg, VA and step-grandchildren, Brian and Lauren Withers.
Friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where services will be held Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Stammerjohn officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
Deacons of the church will hold services Thursday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this posting.

Pat,
We are so very to hear of the passing of Bill. We loved taking care of him here at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. We considered him a part of our family and loved talking with him. We will miss him dearly.

Linda and I were deeply saddened to learn of Bill's death and send you our deepest sympathy. We have many good memories of our times together. Bill was a faithful member of First Presbyterian serving as a deacon and so loyal at taping the Sunday service for many years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God's comfort and strength be with you.
