William Daniel Tabeling

William Daniel Tabeling died February1,2023. He was born in 1944 to Norma and Bill Tabeling of Covington, Kentucky. His father was killed in action in WWII. He was predeceased by his mother Norma Willson and step-father Jack D. Willson.

He is survived by his three sisters, Diane Tabeling Weaver (David), Linda Willson Vesper, and Susan Willson Connor (Denny).

Dan graduated from Holy Cross High School in Latonia, Kentucky and Villa Madonna College (Thomas More University) in Crestview Hills KY.

He is also survived by his wife of 55 years, Julia Lukens Tabeling and three beloved children, Amy DeMeo and husband Tom, Julie Ann Tabeling and William John Tabeling. He leaves behind two cherished grandchildren, Dani Boyer (Nick) and David DeMeo. He will also be remembered by his sister-in-law Martha Lippard and her husband Bruce, brother-in-law Bill Hogan and a treasured group of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Before retirement Dan worked in the food grocery industry in sales management representing Green Giant, Pillsbury and Land O Lakes. After working in the Cincinnati, Detroit, then Cleveland markets the family relocated to New Jersey in 1979.

He was able to spend his years of retirement enjoying home, family, nature, beach vacations, golf and cheering on his favorite sports teams.

He was a large presence in the lives of those who loved him and will be deeply missed while a blessed memory to us all. A private memorial is being planned.
