Louisville - William "Bill" Hayes Tedder, 86, of Fern Creek, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at University Hospital (Louisville, KY). He was born September 27, 1939, in Oak Ridge, TN, the son of Glen A Tedder and Alberta Tedder. He enjoyed a long career with AT&T, where he ultimately retired. Following his AT&T retirement, he worked as Journeyman Electrician (IBEW Local 369) in the Louisville and surrounding area.

He was married in 1958, to Patricia "Pat" A Walls of Oliver Springs, TN, who preceded him in death (04/2016). He is survived by two sons, Charles "Chuck" W Tedder, Byron "Keith" K Tedder, three grandchildren, Rachael "Niki" Tedder, Joshua "Josh" Tedder and Moriah "Mo" Tedder.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Highview Baptist Church, Small Chapel. (7711 Fegenbush Lane, Louisville, KY) Visitation will be from 1-3 PM, with Service at 3 PM.

Bill was a blessing to our family. He was a good friend to my mom, as they talked and texted regularly. My kids took to "Mr. Billy" right away because he brought them gifts, and he did so regularly when he visited Tennessee. They even got to enjoy Taco Bell with him once. He would often text me links to show mom, or just things he knew we would enjoy such as information about Harriman and Dixie Lee. I'm so sorry for your loss - he will be greatly missed.

My buddy,"Taco Bill!" Had many fun conversations thru the years with ur Dad! So sorry for ur family's loss! Prayers for peace for Bill,& u all! Glad he is reunited with ur Mom again!I will miss him! God bless him,always!
