I first met Bill at the Dungeon at Roseland when I moved to Windsor in 1982. He was the loudest guy in the bar & also one with a big heart. As it turned out, I was a neighbour of Bill's on Longfellow & I was a coach at his power skating school. Bill had a loud voice which a lot of people misunderstood, but deep down he was a mild person with a big heart. We will all miss him. As sad as we all are that he is gone, he is now with two dear old friends - Alex Christie & Russ Rudling. Our thoughts & prayers are with you Fran & your children during this difficult time. Tom:
My deepest sympathies to you and your family. It is never easy to part with a loved one. I am sure that William rests in peace. I am sure that he will live in your family's hearts forever.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. Mr. Telega was my first Hockey coach 43 years ago at the old St. Clair Beach Arena. It was his inspiration (yelling) that I still continue to be involved in minor hockey. RIP coach.
