Our church family will never be the same without Bill. He was a gentle soul with a smile that lit up a room. He will be remembered as a godly and wonderful family man. He brought a bright light into our lives, and his kindness will never be forgotten. We were truly blessed to have him as a member of our church, witnessing him joyfully carrying out many Christian duties. Cindy, your church family is here for you, surrounding you with love, support, and comfort. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
"Eternal be his memory."
In Christ,
Art and Betty Radtke

I worked with Bill at Moraine Valley. He was our "go-to" guy when we needed repairs in our office or the Nursing Labs. Mary Therese Galka and I called Bill and Ray Sworsky our "work husbands" because they could fix anything. It's people like Bill you can never forget. If I just waved at him in the hall, he'd say, "Whatcha' need, Linda?" And, he'd stop by later to help me out. Bill was one guy I depended on, and he always stepped up to the plate. Rest in Peace, Bill. God will pat you on the back and say, "Well done."

My first memories of meeting Bill were upon moving to Chicago and reconnecting with my cousin Cindy after many years. Bill was always such a kind, generous, Godly man at all times showing what it meant to be a Christian! When we would meet for dinner or lunch and my young son, Chris was along, he always took the time to talk to him and give him any guidance he could. Our favorite spot to meet was Portillo´s or Honey Jam for breakfast. Bill was always smiling and happy which would make anyone have a good day. His earthly presence will surely be missed by all, but oh how heaven is rejoicing! All my love to the family!

My first memory of my daddy, believe it or not, is sleeping on his belly as a baby. Something I made sure to live in the moment for was riding on the back of his Harley, one of his lifelong dreams that he worked so hard to make come true. I´m proud of him for that and that is something I will always carry with me - I can do anything I want to do because my daddy showed me that. I will always remember the feeling of comfort and safety and "home" my daddy gave me, through the good times in my life, but especially through the bad. I miss him more than I have the words to describe. My one wish in life will always be for one more big ol´ warm papa bear hug. I love you, daddy.

Words cannot express how sorry I was to hear about the passing of Bill. He was the best of the best! I´ll always remember that smile and laughter of his. He was one of the kindest, gentlest, most caring man you could ever have known. He will live forever in all our hearts. He was a role model for all the young boys out there to aspire to be. My boys included. RIP uncle Bill.

I have way too many memories to even remember what my first memory was. I am sure he was not perfect in every way but he was perfect to me in every way. He was my uncle, my big brother, my dad, and my confidant. He was stubborn but logical. He had heart stings the length of the grand canyon. This will be a tough one to get through. I am watching "World in Six Glasses" today wondering if he seen it. I know he would like it. Quite often when we talked we would ask each other if you seen this yet or that yet. I am not quite sure how I will fill this void but I have a calming feeling of him being in a better place and out of pain. God's speed everyone and Unc, save us a spot.
