Thanks, everyone, for your kind words. I'm sure they would mean a lot to him. Rather than a grandpa, he was more like a father to me. I'm grateful for the many years we had together. May he rest in peace.

My husband, Mike Lucas, passed away on November 14, 2022. Bill shared his thoughts about Mike here and I felt as though Mike would have wanted to do the same for Bill. They were good friends and Mike was always impressed by Bill's intelligence. He was never happier than when working on a job with Bill. Bill wrote that Mike could never be replaced and would be greatly missed. I'm quite certain that Mike felt the same about Bill and would also like to have said "Rest in Peace Good Friend and Thanks for the memories".

I consider myself extremely lucky to have been one of many young wiremen fortunate enough to fall under Bill's tutelage during my apprenticeship more than 20 years ago. Truly a class act mechanic, mentor and union man! He will always be remembered!!
