Carolyn, I just found this news thru Google and so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. Bill had a tremendous positive influence on my life. I was one the players on the 1970 -1972 DeKalb College basketball teams. Bill later came to our home to get me involved in selling Franklin Life Ins (but that did not last very long). I spent many hours several years ago trying to look up Bill so that I could talk with him again. But at that point could not find any info. After many contacts with the school to see if they had some of the old basketball films, I was told to try Bill to see if he may have some of the old films. I now live in Albany, GA for the past 15 years. Again, so sorry to hear this news now, especially since I was so close and a little too late to make contact. God bless you and your family. Dear Carolyn,
I have tried to post some thoughts previously, but don't see where they have come through. Any way, you know my thoughts as I shared with you before.
Again, thank you for coming down with Bill and your son David in Oct for the Leesburg High School Reunion. I think it was a great visit and a great time to see Coach and say goodbye. I know it meant so much to us "boys" and also felt it was so wonderful for our Coach .
Love from me and the team. You are his ANGEL.
