I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR "BILLY" VOELKER FOR MANY YEARS. UNFORTUNATELY , I THINK THAT THIS IS HIM. I WORKED WITH A BILLY VOELKER AT EQUIBANK IN THE LATE 60'S AND EARLY 70'S. HE WAS PART OF MY GROOMSMEN AT PATTI AND MY WEDDING ON JUNE 3, 1972. HE WAS A MARINE VET OF VIETNAM AND I AM AN ARMY VET. WHAT A TIME WE HAD BACK THEN. SO PLEASE ACCEPT MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO THE VOELKER FAMILY AND MAY THE LORD BRING YOU CONTINUED PEACE.

Dear Fran,
You may not remember us but we knew you and Bill through the East Liberty Kiwanas. We both enjoyed his easy laugh and willingness to help anyone. We were so sad to hear of his passing and will keep you and the rest of your family in our prayers.

Dear Fran and Family,
I worked closely with Bill at the Credit Union since he started there. What always amazed me was his uncanny ability to sniff out the Bad Eggs. He was an all around wonderful person and will be missed by all. May he Rest In Peace.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Bill's family. I first met Bill when our CEO asked me to sit in on an interview. He was easy to talk to and I thought good for the credit union. He replaced me when I retired. I never worked much with him but of course liked him. He and I were VPs of the credit union when we only had one VP that assisted the CEO. Anytime I would see him, we always had many good conversations. He will be missed and it makes me sad to see he was not retired very long. I am praying that the good memories you have will get you through these trying times. May he rest in piece.

Bill's presence here at the credit union has been sorely missed and my heart goes out to his family and friends. He had a kind soul and always a smile. I instantly knew the mornings that Bill was off because his particular mix of two coffee packages was not sitting in the coffee pot. I truly miss the coffee that could peel paint because I know it means that Bill won't be back. Rest in peace, Bill and my thoughts and prayers go out to those who loved him.

I will never forget the many things I learned from Bill. No one could ever fill his spot here at work or in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family and friends. Rest with God Bill

Fran,
The memories of our co-worker are full. His pragmatic wisdom and humor always came with a smile that reached to your heart. We will never again be able to hear the song “Marry me Bill”, by Marilyn Macoo, as he confused her with the artist Roberta Flack, without smiling. Phyllis Edwards and myself would like to extend our hopes that God's love enfold you and your family at this time.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I remember him as he was over 30 years ago, a twinkle in his eye, an easy smile, a quick wit. It's always so difficult to say goodbye to those we love, but I believe with all that I am, we'll meet again at our own journey's end. God bless...Linda Voelker
