William R. Wellen

William ?Bill? R. Wellen, 88, of Homer City, died Aug. 25, 2007, at home. Born March 9, 1919, in Homer City, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Mabel Hendrickson Wellen. He is survived by his daughters, Kathryn Carney and husband Frank, and Mary Machella and husband John; and two grandchildren, all of Johnstown; a brother, James, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Theola Sullivan Wellen; brothers, Donald, Richard and Thomas; a sister, Louise, and an infant sister. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or services. Arrangements were in care of C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City.
