I am so sorry to hear of the passing of this sweet dear man. I work at Walgreens and would always look forward to seeing his smiling face when he walked in the door. I will miss the hugs he gave me when we saw each other at the store. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this sorrowful time. I will surely miss him.

Goodbye Old and Dear Friend,

Even though I haven't seen you in years, I still remember the good times we had working for Campanella's Tailors on Convention Street and our times at Catholic High. May Almighty God give you His Eternal Rest and may He bless your family and friends always and in all ways.

I was a student CRNA when Max was a staff Anesthesiologist. Many I time when I went out on mu own, I would call him for advice and he would always courteously accept and advise. Also my husband was a graduate of Catholic High of Baton Rouge, and we enjoyed talking at the reunions. My husband was an Internist from Opelousas, La. My heartfelt sadness and prayers to all of his family. A sincerely nice man. Sincerely Yours, Jeanette Mackey Bourgeois CRNA

Dr. Max was a wonderful person and great anesthesiologist. I met him in the Charity Hospital system and around the New Orleans area and was always impressed by his calm and peaceful demeanor and professional presence. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

To Freda Claire, Conway, Nancy and all family, It is with great sorrow and laughter that I reflect on my time spent with Maxie as kids. I am his first cousin and we got in more trouble than the law allowed. Ha.

I will miss him and regret not having seen him since his mother's passing.

My health prevented me from attending his funeral service but he is in my heart and prayers. Love E. Paul Guidry Jr. PS: He was a groomsman in my wedding in 1959/
