Bonnie and Boys;
Bill was a supremely fine gentleman, pilot, and mentor to me. I would not be here, nor my six children, as he saved my life once back in the pipeline years. It should be noted that under Bill's leadership as chief pilot, every passenger flown by the entire company came home safe. You all should be very proud of your fathers accomplishments. Bill also pioneered Livingston Copters entrance into the Alaska Pipeline contracts, awarding Livingston the longest running helicopter jobs in Alaska history. The only way our competition could deal with us was to buy us out. God bless you all and Heaven has gained a fine new resident. So sorry for this loss, praying for you all -
A human life is a story told by God.

Good memories of the joint wedding anniversaries we shared with the two of you, and Bill's cannon celebrating them at your house on the beach. We have been friends for a long time.

Bonnie, my thoughts and prayers are with you, Bill, Jon, and the rest of the family at this time. Bill welcomed me into Era's Juneau operation back in 1991, and offered me a lot of good advise and council over the years. He also taught me a lot about flying and glacier operations, for which I will always be greatful, as it has served me well throughout both my civilian and military flying careers. I always enjoyed working for him, and with him. Even after I left Era, I would bump into Bill from time to time, and we always had a nice chat that was always filled with loads of humor. I will truly miss Bill, as will everyone else. Take care, Bonnie, and again, I am so sorry for your/our loss.

My heart and thoughts go out to my Aunt Bonnie, Bill and Jon. Having just lost my father, Uncle Bill's brother, I know that the space left from this loss will never truly be filled. Uncle Bill was a good man who always had a kind word for others. The last time I saw him was for my father's funeral. Even though he was grieving, I watched as he comforted others and offered a shoulder for them to cry on. He offered words of solace or advice to help others deal with their loss. Uncle Bill was a wonderful man who loved all of his family, regardless of how often they talked. He will be missed by all of those he touched in life.
