Mr. Willie Cecil Daniels, 88, of Madison, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 at Hospice Ministries.
He was born June 18, 1927, to Shelvie Eugene and Alma Rea Daniels. He was born and raised in Silver Creek, MS. Prior to graduating High School he enlisted in the US Navy and was a proud WWII veteran. After serving his country he returned home to graduate High School and attend Co-Lin Community College. He was employed by BellSouth and retired after 43 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Conchetta "Etta" Marie; his daughter, Angela Hammond; sisters, Jewel Hedgepeth and Catherine Gregory; brothers, Lawrence Daniels and Travis Daniels.
He is survived by 3 children, Dr. Tony Daniels of Globe, AZ, Father Jerry Daniels of Chattanooga, TN, and Theresa Buchanan (Buck) of Madison, MS; one sister, Sharon Cox; six grandchildren, Mollie Thurmond (Ross), Natalie Buchanan, Blake Holliman (Jenna), Austin Nutt (Paula), Constantine Daniels, and Marina Daniels; and 5 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Parkway Funeral Home on Highland Colony Parkway in Ridgeland on February 4th, 5 until 7 pm. A funeral service will be held on February 5th, at 11 am with a visitation one hour prior.

May the family find peace and comfort during this sad time, for there will come a time when sickness, pain and death will one day be gone for this has been promised to us. You have my condolences.

Thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. There is little that I can say or do to ease your pain and suffering. May knowing that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many, bring a measure of comfort. Life is so short and those we love are gone from our lives too quickly. God's promise to empty the grave in the near future is found at Hosea 13:14, may the God of loyal love comfort you during your time of sorrow.
