Survivors: children Derrick & Devin Peterson, DeAndra Maxwell (Antwan),siblings, Stephen Grady (Susie), Phillip Grady; 6 grandchildren.
Visitation 5-8pm Wednesday December 14, and funeral Thursday December 15 at 11am. All services held at his church, Stoner Memorial AME Zion Church 1127 W. Oak Street. Burial Cave Hill Cemetery. W.T. Shumake & Daughters in charge

I had known Willie for 30 years through business and social connections. It was always a good day when you saw Willie. My condolences and prayers to his family.

Willie was one of my favorite patients at the Doctors office. Always had a smile on his face even when he was no feeling good and he made me laugh

My deepest condolences to the family. I worked with Willie for a number of years, and he was a kind and patient man. Always fair to everyone, and always took time to listen no matter what was happening. He was a gentleman, a friend, and he will be missed. Prayers for his family for such a tremendous loss. May God hold and keep you during the days ahead. I´m sorry i am out of town and will not be able to pay my deep respect in person.
