Very sorry to hear of Willie's passing . Our families crossed paths many times over the years , my dad ( Eugene ) and him being classmates , buying our first home at 2615 Virginia...He always joked with dad about buying it back .

Willie Wells was like a staple in Connersville, employing many people including my Father. I know that the town of Connersville made more complete by this man. My thoughts and prayers are with this family. I don't know Willie personally but I've met him a few times at the variety store. I've heard his name my whole life (i'm 26). He was apart of Connersville history and a staple in Connersville. Everyone knew Willie. I will miss hearing his name.

He was a good man. My parents like him a lot (Jack and Donna Smith). God bless his family

He was a friend to my dad, Floyd Herman Moore. Dad (early C'ville Camera Club member) said Willie was asked to be a model for the club. Willie grew a beard for the session and liked it so much he kept his beard from that time on. Thank you Willie for all the good years of proving the town's best known hardware store!! You will be missed!!
