Services for Willie Ray Williams, 79, of Salado, Texas. Born April 5, 1937 in Briggs, TX passed away Saturday December 14, 2013.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Hester and Jessie Williams of Killeen, 2 brothers, 1 sister and 1 great grandchild.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Betty Whitis Williams of Salado, daughter, Cindy Williams Gilbert and husband George of Salado, son Tony Ray Williams of Salado, also one son from previous marriage, Johnnie Ray Williams of Harker Heights, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grand children, 1 brother Jesse "Buster" Williams and wife Earlene of Belton, also numerous extended family and friends.
Viewing will be at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, Wednesday December 18th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 19th at 10:30am at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home followed by graveside memorial at Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with full Military Honors.

Betty, my heart is just broken to hear about the passing of Mr. Williams. I so loved seeing him (and you) at his Coumadin Visits. I can say one thing for certain, nobody ever had as much love and care as he did, you did such an amazing job. I will miss him so much. Don't be a stranger, if you ever just want to talk, give me a call. Sending a big hug to you and to Tony at this difficult time! Love you, Girl. Jeanne
