Willis Jackson, Jr., 74, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on December 1, 2023. He was born on February 15, 1949, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Jack, as he was fondly known by close friends and family, was a proud, intelligent, and charismatic individual who appreciated the finer things in life.

Throughout his life, Jack enjoyed good wine and fancy restaurants. He had a passion for cooking and creating chef-inspired cuisine. He also had a deep love for art and was an avid collector. Jack's successful career as an attorney in Knoxville spanned many years, and he was well-respected in his field.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Jack had a zest for life. He loved women, dogs, and traveling the world. His adventurous spirit led him to explore different cultures and experience the beauty of various destinations.

Jack is survived by his niece, Jennifer Howe Distin, and great nephew, Jackson Elliott Howe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Jerrie Jackson, and his brother, Arkless "Wayne" Jackson.

Jack received his education at Holston High School and later pursued his passion for law at the University of Tennessee College of Law.

A ceremony to honor Jack's life will be held at Highland Memorial Cemetery on December 14, 2023, at 3:00 PM.

Willis "Jack" Jackson, Jr. will be remembered for his vibrant personality, his love for the finer things in life, and his dedication to his career. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

I am so sorry, I just found out about Willis. He was my teammate for years bowling in leagues around Knoxville. We won several championships. He also was a good golfer and I enjoyed trips to NC to play. I am deeply saddened, but happy that he is healed.
