Dear Maye and Family,
My warmest thoughts go out to you and your family at this time. I will always remember Willis for the kind video interview he gave when we produced the profile on his beloved brother Quan for the "Heroes Remember" project. I was very touched with his dedication to keeping his memory alive and honouring him. Now it is we who honour Willis. I will remember him as an inspiration and role model for Chinese Canadians of my parent's generation who faced great odds in achieving acceptance and success.
My very sincerest sympathies.

One year, Willis was a guest of the Dragons and he brought with him, his sports album. That gave Joe Young an idea and that started the Sports Chinatown display. Years later, he was a guest speaker at the Vancouver Historical Society to talk about his war hero, Quan. The evening started with a failure with the powerpoint projector but he continued on for an hour without photos until a replacement projector was brought. It was a fine evening and Willis was a true gentleman. God bless him.

I first met Willis when he was on the staff of J. T. O'Bryan in Vancouver and not long after this he left there and formed his own Agency. Fortunately for me, over the next forty years I was involved with his Agency, as he represented the three Insurance Companies where I was employed.
In all cases he supported these Companies strongly, and his manner of doing business was second to none! He was always highly considerate of everyone he dealt with, and it was my pleasure to deal with a man whose integrity, and honesty, and wisdom, left me with a lasting impression.
I also had the pleasure of being involved with his son Brian who follows closely in his father's ways.
I would like to send my deepest sympathy to his great family

Brian, Scott, Stephen... on behalf of Heather Bible Chapel, just sending you our love and prayers. Your father was a very appreciated and valuable member our our assembly for many years. There was no doubt for his love for the Lord or his family. Over the years your father really encouraged me and gave me numerous books and also CD's of messages to encourage me and help me along my christian walk. A few of us had an opportunity to visit your dad a few weeks before he passed, and he encouraged us all. He is with the Lord now and in glory. Praying for your mom and entire family.
