Will had such a profound effect on so many people. He made a difference in so many lives. Bob and I are no exception. In addition, every time my wedding anniversary comes along, I will think happy thoughts of him. He leaves a part of himself in so many people. A part of him that will live on.

Dear Ottery Family,
I had the pleasure of working with Rudi and Will during the 1980's and felt a sorrowful loss when Rudi passed. Today I feel the same pain again in hearing of Will's passing. When last I saw Will we exchanged greetings as though we were best friends. Through the Brothertown Newsletter, we still conversed. I do consider Will my friend and feel the same pain I felt so many years ago. Willis Ottery was the finest example of a friend, a professional and a religious man. I admired him tremendously and will miss him. My sincere condolences go to the whole Ottery family. He should be put up on a pedestal like his ancestor, Sampson Occum, founder of the Brothertown Tribe. Our tribe has lost a true leader and a friend. We all share your grief, but smile at the legacy he has left behind.
