I've lost a good friend and editor. My thanks to Will for the many years of help and guidance he provided for my publications. I was blessed to know him.

Will, we'll miss you. Thank you for being one of our first repeat customers at the gardeners market by purchasing multiple cutting boards and chopping blocks! We will never forget you because we brought a bookcase to Australia with us that's made from the walnut tree you let us have from your front yard :) The world has lost a wonderful person, that's for sure...

I was so sorry to hear about Will's passing. I remember him fondly as one of my Scrabble buddies at USU in the 1990s. I also enjoyed his many letters to the editor, all on the side of compassion, justice, and good sense. My condolences to Will's family and many friends.

Diane and I send our best wishes to Will's family. We were fortunate to count him as a friend.

Teri, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Blessings on Will, I know he will find the great garden beyond. I am luck to have known him and shared his conversation.

Dear Joe and the entire Pitkin family,
I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your father. He was a great man. May your memories of him help you through this difficult time.

Teri--I am so sorry for your loss. Will impacted the lives of so many people over the years. The world has last a great man, and you have lost a wonderful husband and friend. My thoughts are with you.

Oh Teri, I am so sorry for your loss. Will seemed like he would out live us all. He had such spunk and witty sense of humor. He will be long remembered for his words of wisdom and strength. God bless you in this time of mourning.

Will was an early friend when we came to USU, and one of our best memories is seeing him at our older son's first birthday. Always unpredictable but always provocative, he was a fine friend, and we will all miss him.

It was my pleasure to know Will as a professional who always put the students first and foremost. All ( students and faculty) who met him learned from him. He was a great teacher.

I had the pleasure of knowing Will while attending USU and thereafter. I am the better for having known him.

I am saddened to hear of Will's passing. I was one of the students who was so fortunate to have Will as my Prof. and friend at USU. My condolences to all!

What a wonderful tribute to Will. Would that we all could have an obituary so well written and a life so well lived.

Will was the best! The pleasure of his friendship and intellect will always warm my heart and bring a smile to my face.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Wil, but I most certain I would have loved him from the wonderful tribute written in the obituary. Peace to all of those who have known him and miss miss him. I get the feeling the the world was a better place while he was here... :)

I truly miss Will's wit and the lively FB discussions, not to mention his Scrabble acumen!
