Wilma Dodde Obituary
DODDE, WILMA, Wilma Ruth Dodde, age 92 of Grosse Isle, Michigan, a child of God, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 30, 2025. Wilma leaves behind her children, Lynnette (Mike) Nichols, Terri (Deb) Major, Derk (Caroline) Dodde, and Dr. Holle Janeski, twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren, sister, Julia Dieterman.
Wilma is preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Marvin Dodde. Her sisters Elaine Dieterman, Verna Baas, and brother and sister-in-law Morris and Trena Dieterman.
Wilma worked as an expert upholsteress for many decades. Wilma was a giving woman and donated to many charitable organizations. She became an integral part of the Lincoln Park Alumni Scholarship fund which has helped many high school students achieve their goals of going to college.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th at 1:00PM at the McBain Community Center. Burial will take place at Riverside Twp. Cemetery in McBain immediately following.
