WILMA ROSCOE Obituary
On Friday, August 24, 2012, of Carrick. Beloved wife of Michael for 45 years; loving mother of Michael G. (Sis Franz), James M. (Lori McLaughlin), Lisa M. Luncinski (Stephen J.), Georgette M. Heckmann (Shaun); grandmother of Christopher, Shaun, Dane, Gabbi; great-grandmother of Gwyn and Sarah; sister of Jerry and James Wilhelm and Carole Allen. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, on Monday and Tuesday 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Lebanon Presbyterian Church, 2800 Old Elizabeth Road, West Mifflin, PA 15122. In lieu of flowers, family suggests balloons to be delivered. Wilma loved balloons. Please send condolences to:

We were deeply saddened to hear of your mother's death. It was a shock to all of us.
I think that the loss of one's mother is by far the saddest event of anyone's lifetime. There is just no other loss that measures up to this one. But knowing your mom as we did, we know that she wouldn't want you sitting around grieving but rather celebrating the wonderful life she led. I'm sure she had few regrets in living the full and successful life that she did.
We join in with everyone who knew your mom in wishing you peace and comfort as you face this very sad time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your wonderful family.

Jim & Lori, I am so sorry for your loss i know your mom will be greatly missed, but please in these trying and emotionally upheaving times take comfort in the fact that she is with God and as long as your remember her and the love she gave she will always live in your heart.My prayers and sympathies are with you and your family.

What can I say. Wilma was a unique person. I can not tell you all the ways you made her passing peaceful.
To be able to hear how successful a mother and wife you were is priceless. Her legacy will live on in you guys and your children. Be strong , stay close and continue to be the human beings she raised you to be. Wilma, we will all miss you, you were the best aunt and friend that my kids could have, even though I didn't always agree with your carrot snacks.
