To you all,
I agree with Cheryl completely. What a blessing your dad was. Find comfort in your wonderful memories. I know I have some of your dad.

I met Wilrose last summer while volunteering at St. Therese in New Hope. He allowed me the privilege of listening to his life story and letting me write it down for his family. I was deeply touched to learn that he'd earned a Purple Heart in his WWII service and that he mentioned it in such an offhand way. I think that deep inside he was still a modest farm boy from Plymouth, MN. I will miss chatting with him at St. Therese.

Your dad was such a kind and wonderful man. Wish we could have been there to celebrate his wonderful life. Keeping you all in our prayers.

Wilrose was truly a member of the greatest generation. Raised during a Depression, soldier in a world war, and an unselfish and generous husband and father. I saw his great heart in his treatment of his daughter and my friend Marge. I am sad to see him pass but he lived a heroic and good life.

Wilrose was a kind and gentle man to all of us on 45th Ave. May he find peace and joy in heaven. He will be dearly missed. You're neighbor, David Pomerleau.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Wilrose' family during this time. I had the opportunity and pleasure of getting to know him at St. Therese. His smile will be missed. May he rest in Jesus!
