My wife and I had always liked the T.V. show Body of Proof. Recently, I rented the full series on DVD from my local library. Windell was perfect on the show as asst. Coroner Dr. Curtis Brumfield. I didn't know until tonight when I researched the cast of the show on the app IMDB, that he had passed on. I was shocked to find out that he had passed on so long ago, especially at such a young age. Mr. Middlebrooks really added to the flavor of the show, and we feel a connection to his character, as I'm sure he was the same in real life. He must have been an amazing man. But, Dr. Brumfield will live on forever as an integral part of the show, so he will never be forgotten. God Bless Windell's family and friends.

To the family of Windell, we attended middle school together and he was such a huge presence in everyone's lives. He never forgot where he came from no matter where life took him. He will be greatly missed. My condolences and thoughts are with you.

I am honored to have had the privilege to work beside Windell for three years. The minute I saw him in the morning, my heart would soften. I knew I was in the presence of grace. Plus, he was the silliest, most joyous man I have ever met. And beyond talented. He would work a scene until it soared. Thank you and bless you Windell. We shall meet again.

Windell was a "one of a kind" great guy. I am happy to have known him when he was a student at Trimble Tech. My prayers are with the family.

What a kind and loving young man taken away too soon. I was fortunate enough to have worked with Windell during his UCI days. He always brought a smile and laugh to us all. May his family find comfort and peace knowing what a wonderful man they shared with us for far too short of a time.

It is with great sorrow that we part with our brother, Windell D. Middlebrooks on this side of Jordan, but oh what joy when we meet on the other side. When we reach that blessed homeland, where there's everlasting day; on that bright and blessed morning, God shall wipe all tears away.

Always bear in mind that spirit was never born and spirit can never die. Remember that God gives grace for each trial, and courage for each sorrow and faith to face in confidence a blessed, sweet, blissful and bright tomorrow.

I had the pleasure of having Windell in my Technology 2000 Class at Trimble Tech High School. He also served as the president of my Technology club. Windell played an important leadership role involving the Tech student body. I was so very proud of all of his outstanding achievements, and followed every aspect of his theatrical career. The Fort Worth Independent School District, The Trimble Tech Family, the city of Fort Worth, State of Texas, the Fort Worth Community and the Hollywood community has lost an outstanding actor and human being. As I go to my Father in prayer, I will ask for a special blessing for the entire family of Mr. Windell D. Middlebrooks.
