Dear Hoover Family,
We are so sorry to hear about the death of Rev. Hoover. Our thoughts and prayers go out to each one of you in this time of sorrow. May you remember the wonderful memories and share them with each other to bring a smile and joy to you all during this difficult time. There is grief because of the love that was shared and you will miss him but there is also joy because today he is walking and talking (face to face) with his Heavenly Father. He is experiencing what he preached and based his life on. Praise God!
I remember Rev. Hoover was such a blessing to me when I was in the hospital and he called me every day. We talked about our Loving God and he prayed for me and gave me such encouragement and comfort. He touched many lives and has left a wonderful legacy.
Sincerely,
Linda & John Kullman

I have been dreading this day. Bro. and Sister Hoover have been the most wonderful, genuine, caring Christians that I have ever known and he was one of my very favorite pastors! I was privileged to attend Fairpark Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas when I went to Arlington Baptist College. They were so warm and loving and accepted me right into their family; they were like second parents to me. I continue to hold dear all that I learned at Fairpark Baptist and to cherish this precious couple and their family. May God hold each of you close and walk with you during this time. I am giving each one of you - Sister Hoover, Betty and Bill, Belinda, Becky, Mark, and Mary Alice - a big hug. I have so many fond memories of all of you and such respect for this family! If there is ever anything that I can do for you, please let me know. You cannot be honored too much. Well done, Bro. Hoover!

I remember Uncle Winfred fondly from growing up and going to visit and also from attending his church on Wednesday nights while I was in college. He had the best gardens and was a faithful man of God! Jenifer Harrod Burnet, TX

Brother Hoover was a kind and gentle man, who epitomized the office of Pastor. He touched so many lives, and continues to touch lives through the ministries of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. What a legacy! Hoover family, may God richly bless you in the days ahead. May The Lord of Peace wrap you in His Arms. Rest assured, each of you, that Grandpa Hoover is watching you through the lens of Heaven, and that he is smiling with love and pride for each of you.

To the Hoover Family, Bro. Hoover was a great man of God. I am honored to have had him as my pastor for at least 30 plus years at Fairpark Baptist Church in Fort Worth Texas. I can remember if you missed a service you could expect a call from him the very next day to see if you had been sick and if you were ok. He and Mrs. Hoover were always there for you even if it was 2 o'clock in the morning. Our hearts are saddened, but we can rest assured that he is in Heaven with our Lord Jesus. Our prayers are with all of you.

Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Many prayers...No one who knew him would doubt there was a God in Heaven. He was a good and kind man. Each week before Sunday School, he would sneak a bite of a donut and tell me not to tell Edith! I loved him.

Mrs. Hoover, Pastor Mark and Betty, may God bless you and your families in this time of sorrow. Barbara and I are so sorry for your loss. Rev. Hoover was such a kind and gracious servant of our Lord. With us living out of the country for so many years, we weren't able to spend much time around him, but the times we were in Wichita and at the church, he was always glad to see us and would go out of his way to greet us and make us feel welcome. We count it an honor to have been considered his friend. He will be greatly missed.
Our loss is heaven's gain.

Sister Hoover, Mark and Betty, Bro. Hoover truly lived what he taught. I remember when I was nine years old at Fair Park Baptist walking down the aisle and accepting the Lord as my savior. Will never forget the good times our families had together. We will see you again some day.

I will never forget the wonderful memories made at Fairpark Baptist where our family was privileged to serve the Lord with you there for a short while. Thank you for your friendship and most of all for your faithfulness in the ministry and life. Those left behind will grieve and miss your presence. Your lovely gardens and your love of music in song. But I cannot help but enjoy the thought of the reunion you are having with the many loved ones that have longed for your smile and embrace. I send my love, prayers and blessings to the family. Heaven is our hope and now it is his eternal home. He told millions about it, now he is experiencing it. Who could ask for more. With all my love and gratitude, Dede Dunn and children: Rachel, Tate, Cameron and Jillian.
