Winifred Joyce

Winifred (Flaherty) Joyce, of Milton passed away at Alliance Health Care in Braintree on Sept. 13. Born in Ardmore, Co. Galway, Ireland, she was the beloved wife of Colman M. and devoted mother of Barbara M. Carney of Milton and Ann Nancy K. Harrington and her husband, Frank of Westwood. She was the sister of Ellen McDermott of FL and Nora Monoghan of Ireland and the late Martin, Michael, McDara, Kathleen, Margaret , Patrick , Barbara and Joseph Flaherty, Mary Foley, Della Conley and Anne McCarthy and is also survived by her grandchildren: Elizabeth Nicosia and her husband Tim, John and Michael Carney, Victoria Harrington and one great-grandson, Joseph Nicosia. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Agatha Church, Milton, Saturday morning at 10:30 and visiting hours will be at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton Friday 4 to 8 p.m. Interment Milton Cemetery.
