WEAVER, Mrs. Winnie Mae, departed this life on May 1, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur C. Weaver; both parents, six brothers and four sisters. She is survived by two sons, John (Yvonne) and Jerry (Betty); one sister, Maggie; four grandchildren, four great- grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th Street, where the family will receive friends Thursday, from 6 to 7 p.m., and where funeral services will be held Friday, May 6, 2011 at 10 a.m. Rev. Bruce Miller officiating. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

To the Weaver Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. I remember Mrs. Weaver very fondly at Third St. Bethel Church.

Grandma I am going to miss you so very much. You were a important part of my life. I still can't believe you're gone. I admire you as a woman,a mother,a grandmother, and most of a woman of GOD you introduced me to him as a child and now as an adult because of you and my uncle John it will forever stick with me because you made us say our prayers every night. I appreciate you loving me and being a wonderful grandmother. I know you be watching over me and protect me because you are an angel now. Grandma words can't explain how much I'm gonna miss you!! You are in Heaven now and in a much better place. I love you so much and I will never forget you. You will forever be apart of me I can't say goodbye but I will see you when I get there love always and forever your granddaughter Sharneice Weaver

Miss Winnie, You will be greatly missed in my neighborhood and our lives. You have been a great loving neighbor and friend to us over the last 22 years. We will carry you in our hearts and minds for eternity. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers go out to all of your family and friends as well. You will be greatly missed in this world, but will always be in our thoughts. A woman of your grace, kindness, distictive humor and loving ways will be in all of our minds, hearts, and thoughts daily for many generations to come.
