Winnie Lai Hing Wong

My sister Winnie is very special. I wished we had lived near one another so we could have spent more time together. I think of the wonderful times we had together when she visited us in Wales, UK, and when we came over to Vancouver. Winnie showed us to see the beauty in crystals and her knowledge of them was so great.

We think of the fun we had and it will never die. We dream of things that might never come true BUT the thing that will always be true is our love for Winnie. We thank God for giving us a sister and aunty so loving and loved as her. We will miss her very much and know that one day we will be together again to continue our journey.

What it meant to loose Winnie so quickly no one will ever know. Our hearts ache with sadness and secret tears will flow. She will be very sadly missed by us all.

i have the supreme consolation that winnie died a very very happy lady. one cannot ask for anything more in life . she knew that she was going to meet her lord and saviour jesus christ. she is with him now, and with the angels in glory are singing his praises. we miss her , but we also know that we will meet at the feet of jesus.gene francke, vancouver bc.

Aunty Winnie will always be in our memories and will be deeply missed.



I remember her when she came to visit us as kids and we always looked forward to her coming but when it was time to go, good byes was difficult.

Winnie will be missed and I have always enjoyed her company during my visits to Vancouver. Her departure was not expected as she was planning to visit New Zealand later in the year and I was looking forward to her visit.

winnie was my sweetheart , darling , and honey. we were to be married on april 29. 2006. she was a very special lady,.caring , considerate and loving . words cannot fully convey what she meant to me. you only realize the worth of someone once you have lost them. i was the first person to view her mortal remains. she appeared to be at complete peace, and she had the look of someone who had just seen her lord and saviour jesus christ. i also know that she trusted and believed in the lord jesus christ, and is at complete peace with him.we will meet again at jesus feet.i am fighting back tears as i write this guest book entry. love in christ. gene

Our very deepest sympathies to your family on this very sad occasion. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. We remember Winnie's friendly personality and generous nature. We are very sad that she departed so unexpectedly.

Auntie Winnie will be sadly missed by all in the family. We have fond memories of Auntie Winnie in particular Joshua loved riding around Vancouver in her car when he was 4 years old in September 1999. Although that was the first and only time he met with Auntie Winne he still remembers visiting her home and doing a jigsaw puzzle - this detail I don't even recall.



I will always remember Auntie Winnie as a firm but yet a loving Aunt. When she came to visit us as kids she used to always bring us new board games.



We thank the Lord for Auntie Winnie's life and we know that the impact she has had on people around her will live on.
